Service used: Ad hoc social media scheduling.

Snapshot results: Steven was able to devote his time to customer jobs,  focus on other business priorities and have a better work life balance. All without having to worry about his social media presence because I posted his projects for him.

Problem: Steven was conscious that social media was a great way to get his construction business advertised and in front of potential local customers. However, he was struggling to find the spare time to post, while keeping on top of everything else in his business.

Solution: Steven reached out to me to take care of scheduling his posts for him. He sent lots of project before and after photos that were ready to be posted, along with a brief description of each. I took these images, resized as appropriate, created the captions,  used appropriate hashtags and scheduled as requested.

Results: After 1 week, Steven was able to leave the social media scheduling to me and devote time during the day, to his higher priority tasks such as construction jobs, invoicing customers and getting back to new enquiries. Which meant he was also able to have a better work life balance by spending his evening time at home with his family instead!

Conclusion: By working together, we were able to keep up with Steven’s social media presence, whilst also maintaining a better work life balance. Herein lies the difference in the value of outsourcing to a Virtual Assistant. Was he able to make more money because he was able to finish jobs sooner and take on new ones?

Yes, sure – But it also meant that it was one less thing to have to think about for him. One less thing to have to do afterhours. One less thing interrupting time spent at home with his family. It was all done for him.
